This application was developed by the Non-Government Organization "Türkçe Çalışma Koruyucu" in collaboration with the Ministry of National Education and the Department of English Language Education of the Ministry of Education. The aim of the project is to develop a basic and usable English-Hausa dictionary for Hausa-speaking people who wish to learn or teach English.
The project includes the development of a dictionary, a text-to-speech (TTS) converter, and an audio-to-text (AT) converter. The dictionary will contain Hausa and English words. When a word is entered, the application will search for its meaning in the dictionary. The user can choose to have the meaning of the word read aloud.
